Lara Block was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and has lived in Miami, Florida for the past 20 years. Mrs Block has been a world class triathlete and duathlete having competed in over 100 triathlon and duathlon races over the past 12 years. She was named among Florida's Fittest Women; achieved the award of Best Female Duathlete in Florida for numerous years and has been an All American duathlete. Lara's top duathlon finish was placing 5th in the World Duathlon Championships in Belgium. She has attained her yoga teacher training certification and is a devout yogi. Mrs Block runs a successful hedge fund company, Magnum Funds and a wholesale art business, Friedland Art Inc., is a proud mother of 3 athletic children and trains twice a day.
