Agel Australia and New Zealand - FAQs
Frequently Asked Question Topics
I. Registering Preferred Customers
What is the difference between a Team Member and a Preferred Customer (PC)?
A Team Member can earn commissions. A Preferred Customer does not participate in the commission program. Both can purchase product at Team Member prices.
How much does it cost to register as a PC?
It costs nothing. You can enroll as a Preferred Customer online where you will receive an Agel Preferred Customer Number. An enrollment fee and the purchase of a Starter Kit are not required to become a PC.
Can non-residents of Australia register as PCs?
Yes, but Agel will not ship to addresses outside of Australia or New Zealand.
If I have previously registered as a PC under one sponsor, can I later become a PC or a Team Member under a different sponsor?
Yes; however, you must cancel your first PC status and re-enroll under the new sponsor – either as a PC or a Team Member.
Why should a Team Member sponsor PCs?
Team Members often choose not to make a profit when selling product to close friends. Instead of retailing, they can register their friends as PCs. That way their friend knows they are getting the best possible price for the products, while the Team Members no longer worries about product delivery. As a further bonus, PC purchases count toward their sponsoring member’s Commissionable Volume.

We encourage all Team Members to sign up for direct deposit via ACH in their Agel back office. The ACH method of payment for Team Members in the United States starts in 2006. Until then, we will cut paper checks once a month and mail them to your address. If you live in a foreign market, ACH is not an option.

IX. Product Questions
What Agel products are currently available?
Agel FIT is a unique approach to weight loss and appetite suppression. FIT works in two ways. When taken before meals, it can cause a mild sensation of being full, helping you to eat smaller portions. In addition, FIT prevents your body from storing extra carbohydrates that your body doesn’t use and increases your ability to burn any carbohydrates already stored. The active ingredient in FIT is Super Citramax or HCA (hydroxycitric acid) from the extract of the fruit and rind of Garcinia combogia.
Agel EXO is a delicious blend of healthy and exotic fruits and berries, each with a very high Anti-Oxidant content. These fruits and berries have long been associated with health and longevity. We use the whole fruit to provide the maximum nutrition and lower the glycemic index. Active ingredients include Acai, Acerola, Aloe Vera, Aronia, Ashwaganda, Bilberry, Blueberry, Cranberry, Dark Grape, Noni, Para Guava, Pomegranate, Rooibos, and Wolfberry.
Are Agel products Halal Certified?
Yes. All Agel products have been Halal Certified by the Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America (IFANCA). click here to download Agel Halal certificate
Are Agel products Kosher Certified?
Yes. All Agel products have been Kosher Certified by the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America (Orthodox Union). Agel is in the process of obtaining additional Kosher certifications in Israel. click here to download Agel Kosher certificate.
Are artificial colorants used in the formulation of the gels?
No. The coloration in the gels is a result of the natural color of the ingredients.
What are the advantages of Gel Technology?
There are two key factors that influence the efficacy of any nutritional supplement: the timing of the ingestion, and the bioavailability of the nutrients. The convenience of the portable gel pack delivery system that Agel uses allows first for the proper timing of ingestion to correctly correspond with meals, which in turn enhances the overall absorption and use of the nutrient. And second, the Gel Technology forces the critical nutrients to remain suspended in gel, thus optimizing the bioavailability of those nutrients when ingested. Traditional supplements found in pills and capsules do not always fully absorb in the digestive track, allowing a portion of the critical nutrients to travel through the digestive track without ever interacting with the lining of the stomach or intestines.
How are the nutrients in Agel products absorbed?
Ingredients in each of the products contain nutrients that have specific (although widely different) methods of absorption along the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. For most of these nutrients, the primary location is in the small intestines. By suspending nutrients in a gel, all of the nutrients are readily available to be digested and absorbed in the GI tract.
Should pregnant woman use Agel products?
There are some ingredients in Agel EXO that have been listed in some texts as not appropriate for pregnant women. Consequently, we recommend that pregnant women not consume EXO. If you are pregnant, prior to taking any vitamin, herbs, supplements, or over-the-counter medications, we strongly recommend that you consult with your physician.
Can women take Agel products while breast-feeding?
We recommend that you review the ingredients in these products with your physician prior to using them while breast feeding.
Should children use Agel FIT?
We recommend consulting with your pediatrician about appropriate food supplementation and weight management regimens for children. As a general rule, we do not recommend diet aids for children, and we therefore do not recommend using Agel FIT in the pediatric population. We do advocate healthy eating habits and plenty of physical activity as a means for children to manage weight. To initiate an early habit of dependence on dieting aids in childhood may be sending the wrong message.
Is Agel’s proprietary sweetener appropriate for consumption by diabetics and hypoglycemics?
The proprietary sweetener in the Agel gel products has a very low glycemic index and should not have any significant effect on blood glucose levels. It contains low levels of high intensity sweeteners that are not taken up into the blood stream by the digestive system. It also contains Xylitol, a sugar alcohol, and Inulin which is a fructo-oligosaccharide, both of which also have very low glycemic indices. Prior to taking any vitamins, herbs, supplements or over-the-counter medications, we recommend that you consult with your physician.
Are there any drug interactions related to any of the Agel products?
We are only aware of two potential drug interaction concerns. They involve anyone taking medications that increase serotonin levels. In particular, medications in the category of SSRI’s (Selective Serotonin Re-uptake Inhibitors) are of concern. We strongly advise consultation with your physician prior to using Agel FIT if you are taking these medications.
