Agel Choosing Success Magazine


One of the BIGGEST announcements at the Agel Launch in Orlando, FL, USA (October 21-22, 2005) was the introduction of the "Choosing Success" magazine.

This magazine will become your #1 recruiting tool.  It is a ton of information about Agel in magazine article and advertisement format.  It also comes with an audio CD featuring multi-million dollar earners in the network marketing industry, Randy Schroeder, Eric Worre, and Randy Gage.

The magazines are sold in bundles of 50 for $2 each.  An order of 50 magazines will cost about $65 with shipping.  There is also an auto-ship program you can subscribe to so you can receive some more every month.

Set a goal to hand out 2-3 each day with a product sample(s).

Here's what you do.

1. Take your magazine, locate the CD pouch and open the top, be careful not to shred the card stock backing, just get the plastic open.

2. Put a sticky note (Post-It) on the front that reads:

Name,

Try this/these samples.
Look through the magazine.
Listen to the CD.
I'll call you in two days.

-Your Name
3. Call a friend/family/acquaintance and ask if they will be home for the next few minutes (or arrange to meet for 2 minutes).  Or just stop by.

4. Drop off the magazine and sample(s) - EXO and OHM work best.

5. Be in a hurry, say:

"I just wanted to drop this off.  You need to check this out.  Try these products, just rip the top off and sip it down.  Look through this magazine and listen to the audio CD (show them the CD in the already opened pouch - pull it part-way out).  I need to get it back in two days, I promised it to someone else but I wanted you to look at it first.  I'll give you a call or drop by in a couple of days.  Ok?  Great!"

6. Leave!  Do not say anything else, do not answer questions or explain.  If they try to ask questions, say, "Just try the products and look through the magazine.  I'll call you in a couple days."

7. If they reject your offer or hand it back to you, just say, "Ok, that's cool, thanks."  They are not rejecting you, they are rejecting the offer.  They are probably not interested or curious enough to be a good prospect now anyway.

8. Record who and when you give the magazine to and their response.  In 2-3 months contact those who wont take it or look at it.  Things may have changed.

9. Go back in two days to get your magazine and CD.  Ask them:

Did you try the products? What did you like about them? Did you look at the magazine? What was interesting or appealing to you? Would you like to know more?"

Overcomming objections - be friendly but sincere:

Objection: I just don't have time.
Reply: Well that's really the problem isn't it.

Objection: I don't think I can afford it.
Reply: Well that's really the problem isn't it.

Objection: I don't think I can do it.
Reply: Neither did I, but here I am. I want help you.

Objection: I tried network marketing before and failed.
Reply: Well try again with me and let's succeed!

Don't argue or belabor the point.  You can't convince them to do this business.  You can only present the information, assure them of your support and encourage them to try.  Never badger, hound, pester or belittle.  If they are not interested tell them that you are going to contact them in a couple of months and tell them how you are doing.  Most will say, "yeah, I'd like to know".

10. If they seem interested in learning more, tell them about the Agel Business Breifing in your area and invite them to the business presentation; "Would you like to come to a business presentation to learn more?"  Or invite them to your home for a private business review; "I can have my business partner come over to my house for a business presentation.  When is good for you?"

DO NOT ANSWER THEIR QUESTIONS.  If they have questions, say, "That's a good question.  I'm really new in this business but my partner probably knows the answer to that.  Let's schedule a time to call him/her and you can ask your questions."

It is OK to answer simple questions like "How much do the products cost?" ($60 for a box of 30 packets)  But do not try to answer questions about signing up; Q: "How much does it cost to sign up?"  A: Well there are several ways you can sign up.  I'm not really an expert on that but we can ask my business partner...".

Do not try to answer complex questions about the products, compensation plan or company.  Always refer/defer to your business partner by way of a 3-way call, web conference, private business review (in-home) or Agel business briefing.

You should know the basics, what the 7 products are and generally what they do:

Go back to people you contacted before.  Go back to people who said "no" before.  Say "I know you said you weren't interested but I have to let you look at this magazine."  Go to people you haven't contacted or were afraid to contact. Just give them a magazine and a sample and say "try it!"

Sponsor UP!  Approach the people you wish you had in your business.  Doctors, lawyers and multi-millionaires have joined this business - approach them!

Sponsor YOUR WEAKNESS!  If you have trouble speaking, find a good speaker and sponsor them.  If you have trouble talking to people, find a good talker and sponsor them.  If you don't have money, find someone who does and sponsor them.  If you don't know anything about network marketing, find someone who does and sponsor them!

But you have to be willing to approach them.  Don't disqualify anyone for any reason - give everyone the same opportunity you have.  Let them choose to say YES or NO.  Your job is just to present them the message.

If you work towards a goal of handing 2-3 out each day and following up, your business will really start to grow.  You can do this, it's easy.  Keep it simple, don't try to be an expert, rely on your upline and the WhyAgel team!
