Agel Min™ — is highly absorbable vitamin and mineral supplement. With Agel Min, unlike tablets and even some capsules, there is no issue with digesting a supplement in the form of a highly compressed pellet. This product is a tasty way to ensure that your body can use the nutrients you intake.

Agel Exo™ — is a delicious blend of 15 different exotic fruits, each of which has a high Anti-Oxidant content. Each of these fruits have long been associated with health and longevity. You won't find a blend of fruits as beneficial and far reaching as this. These are fruits from all over the world and each of them are respected for their health giving and medicinal properties. Most all of the fruits used are not just the juice, but the whole fruit. This provides you with maximum nutrition as well as lowers the glycemic index. These exotic fruits include: Acai, Acerola, Aloe Vera, Ashwaganda, Bilberry, Blueberry, Camu camu, Cashew Fruit, Cranberry, Dark Grape, Noni, Para Guava, Pomegranate, Rooibos, and Wolfberry.

Agel Fit™ — is a unique approach to weight loss and appetite suppression. This product works from a couple of different angles. When taken before meals, Agel Fit can cause a mild sensation of fullness, helping you to eat smaller portions. In addition to this, Agel Fit can prevent your body from storing the carbohydrates that your body doesn't use, as well as increasing your ability to "burn" what you may have already stored.

Agel Ohm™ — is a wonderful tasting blend of energy creating herbs, Taurine, D-Ribose, and B Vitamins. All of these have been combined together to create a product that provides energy and mental alertness.

Answer: Each of the ingredients in each of the products contains nutrients that have different and specific methods of absorption along the gastrointestinal tract. For most of these nutrients, the primary location for absorption is in the small intestine. Some of the nutrients are absorbed in ways that are not fully studied in the literature. By suspending nutrients in a gel, all of the nutrients are readily available to be digested and absorbed in the GI tract. By providing a good-tasting, easily ingested, readily available form of these nutrients, we feel that a maximum benefit is obtained.

There are some ingredients in the Agel EXO that have been listed in some texts as not appropriate for pregnant woman. Therefore, we recommend that pregnant woman not consume Agel EXO. In addition, the daily recommendation of vitamin A is 5,000 IU and Agel MIN contains 5,460. If you are pregnant, we strongly recommend that you consult with your physician prior to taking any vitamins, herbs, supplements, or over-the-counter medications.

We recommend that you review the ingredients in these products with your physician prior to using them while breast feeding.

No. The coloration is a result of the natural color of the ingredients.

There are two very important factors that influence the efficacy of nutritional supplements: the proper timing of ingestion and the bioavailability of the nutrients. The convenience of the portable gel pack facilitates the proper timing for taking the supplements with meals, which enhances the absorption and utilization of each nutrient. Gel Technology allows the nutrients to remain suspended in Gel, optimizing bioavailability. Before gel supplements, individuals relied on tablet and capsule forms of nutritional supplements. Unfortunately, typical supplements in a pill form may not always be fully absorbed. However, thanks to Agel's suspension gel technology, these vitamins, minerals and other nutrients may be more readily available for absorption and digestion.

As a point of reference, the American Academy of Pediatrics does not endorse vitamin supplementation in children under 16, except for specific groups with chronic illnesses. Furthermore, mineral needs of children are still unclear. Agel MIN contains 100% of the recommended daily intake (RDI) of the essential vitamins and selected essential minerals for adults. Most children’s vitamins currently on the market contain about the same amount of vitamins as Agel MIN, without the minerals. If you elect to use Agel MIN for children, the preparation does not contain enough of the vitamins or minerals to be considered dangerous; however, an entire gel pack of Agel MIN is probably more than necessary. We recommend consulting with your pediatrician about appropriate dosing of the vitamins and minerals for children.

We recommend consulting with your pediatrician about appropriate food supplementation and weight management regimens for children. As a general rule, we do not recommend diet aids for children, and we therefore do not recommend using Agel FIT in the pediatric population. We advocate healthy eating habits and plenty of physical activity as a means for children to manage weight. To initiate an early habit of dependence on dieting aids in childhood may be sending the wrong message.

As far as we know, there are no problems with consuming all four of the Agel Gel products in the same day. Agel MIN contains 100% of the RDI of vitamins and up to 50% of the RDI of minerals for adults. Agel OHM contains a vitamin B-complex that would result in duplication of the B vitamins. If only one of each of the gels was taken in the same day, most of the B vitamins would be less than 150% of the RDI for an adult, and 400% of vitamin B12. Agel EXO contains exotic fruit purees and plant extracts that are high in antioxidants. Because vitamins C and E are both effective anti-oxidant, there would be duplication of the anti-oxidants as well. Prior to taking any vitamins, herbs, supplements or over-the-counter medications, we recommend that you consult with your physician.

There is increasing literature to support the concept of moderation in vitamin supplementation. The adage of “too much of a good thing can be harmful” is beginning to become a widely accepted viewpoint among nutritionists and scientists around the world. We feel that the best way to enhance healthy living for the greatest number of people is to create a product that provides 100% of the RDI of vitamins in a single dose. If there are individuals that wish to increase the amount of vitamins in their daily regimen, they may elect to ingest a second Agel MIN gel pack.

The proprietary sweetener in our gel products has a low glycemic index and should not have significant effect on blood glucose levels. It uses low levels of high intensity sweeteners not passed into the blood stream during digestion. It also contains Xylitol, a sugar alcohol, and Inulin which is a fructo-oligosaccharide, both have very low glycemic indices. Prior to taking vitamins, herbs, supplements or over-the-counter medications, we recommend you consult your physician.

Yes, except Agel OHM uses synthetic Taurine. All other ingredients are derived from natural sources. Natural Taurine is derived from bile. In order to be sensitive to Agel team members of varying religious beliefs, we chose to use synthetic Taurine in the OHM product instead. That’s a good thing.

At the present time, we are only aware of two potential drug interactions in those persons who are taking medications that increase brain serotonin levels. In particular, medications in the category of SSRI’s (Selective Serotonin Re-uptake Inhibitors) are of some concern. We strongly advise consultation with your physician prior to using Agel FIT or OHM if you are taking these medications.

In Agel OHM, panax ginseng is one of the active ingredients, and it may cause increased serotonin levels in the brain. In addition, the Agel FIT uses Hydroxycitric Acid (HCA) as its primary active ingredient. HCA has been shown to be effective in part by its ability to reduce appetite by increasing brain serotonin levels. In general, for individuals taking medications that increase brain serotonin, there is a theoretical risk of serotonin syndrome.

Agel is currently in the final stages of certifying the products with The Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America (IFANCA). Confirmation of Agel’s Halal certification will be forthcoming.

Update 2005-06-23:  Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America (IFANCA), the leading Halal-food certification organization in North America, has certified Agel FIT and Agel EXO. Halal certification gives companies access to Muslim consumers and helps Muslims in choosing their foods, assured that what they are buying is Halal without doubt!

Agel is currently in the final stages of certifying the products with the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America (Orthodox Union). Confirmation of Agel’s Kosher certification will be forthcoming. Agel is also in the process of obtaining other Kosher certifications in Israel.

By ordering goods from Agel, I hereby authorize a licensed Canadian customs broker chosen by Agel to act as my agent, and to transact business with Canada Customs Revenue Agency (CCRA) to clear my merchandise, account for applicable duties and taxes, to return merchandise to Agel and prepare and submit refund claims on my behalf for any merchandise that I return. I understand that CCRA will send any refund of duties and taxes that were paid on the returned merchandise to the broker, and that I will obtain the refund directly from Agel. In this connection, I also authorize the customs broker to endorse any refund check issued by CCRA in my name, so that Agel can be reimbursed. If you request an upgrade within a month of your sign-up, you only pay the difference between the level you signed up at and the US $1000 for the Executive Level. So if you signed up at the US $200 Business Builder level, you would pay the US $800 difference.

If you request to upgrade after the month of your sign-up, you will need to pay the full US $1000 but you will also receive the Executive Level Start-Up Kit with US $1000 of product and the marketing materials. So its not wasted money.

Because its important to have enough product both to try it yourself and pass out samples, we recommend the Executive Level option whenever finances permit. But we never want people to create a financial burden by overspending.

When talking to people about the Agel opportunity almost all will ask you which level you selected. And most will select the same level as you did. So it is important to sign-up at the highest level that is appropriate for you.

Yes. Sign them up as a Preferred Customer. There is no cost to become a preferred customer and you can receive a US $5 commission on each box they purchase if through AutoShip. Commissionable Volume (CV) can be directed to either your left or right sides on a per customer basis (choice made when they are signed up).

If they want to purchase 5 or more boxes, you may want to encourage them to sign up a the US $250 level. They will receive a position and can sign up people in the future (but don't have to).

A team member may terminate his contract at any time, and for any reason, by sending written notice of intent to terminate to the company. Termination becomes effective as of the date the company receives written notice of termination.

Auto-Ship Agel Products  Topics

Auto-ship is the option of having the company automatically send you your product each month and charge you accordingly. This eliminates the hassle of having to order each month. The shipping date can be the 1st 5th 10th 15th or 20th of the month. You can sign up for auto-ship at any time and you can cancel auto-ship at any time. You can decide how much you want your auto-ship to be. You will be able to change your options in your profile. If you enrolled at the executive level, auto-ship is mandatory or you will be dropped to the leadership level.

No. There is no obligation to be on the Auto-Ship program. However, in order to receive commissions on your sales in any given month, you need to order at least US $60-75 (1 box) of product in that month (2 boxes, US $120-150 to participate in the full compensation plan).

Yes. In some countries auto-ship is known as Automatic Order, or APO.

No. You may cancel or change your auto-ship at any time. However, if you enrolled at the executive level, auto-ship is mandatory.

We follow very reliable and detailed systems to process and clear credit cards, make sure products are shipped and received, and accurately calculate commissions for all of our markets.

If you're in the US and Canada you will be paid by check or ACH (direct deposit) (or Debit Card). If you are not in these two countries you will be paid by check, wire transfer, or Debit Card account.

No, in fact you only need to purchase US $60 worth of product (1 box) each month to be eligible for the Team Volume Commission and earn any Fast Start Bonuses (for enrolling new members), but your income will be limited to US $5000/month . To be eligible for the entire commission plan, including the bonus pools and Leveraged Matching Bonus*, you need to purchase 2 boxes each month (US $120).

* Team Members in countries on the Developing Economies Compensation Plan will also be eligible to receive Leveraged Matching Bonuses down through 4 sponsorship generations.

Lets say that there are US $5 million in sales in a month, 3% of that US $5 million would be US $150,000. If for example, people qualify for 1000 shares, each share would be worth US $150.

3% of the Global Sales Volume is pooled for people who have activated their business by ordering the Executive Kit, are on auto-ship and who's sales volume on their smaller leg has increased by US $1000 or more over the past month.

So if your smaller leg's sales volume through the end of the month is US $1000 and then in the next month it grows to US $2000 you qualify for 1 share in the Executive bonus pool. Each US $1000 growth (over the prior month) qualifies you for a share in this pool. If in the next month your smaller leg grows to US $4000, you will receive two shares (US $2000 -> US $4000 = US $2000 growth = 2 shares).

Each month the difference between your larger and smaller sides is "banked" on your larger side. So if you had 4000 on your larger side and 1000 on your smaller, the "extra" 3000 from your larger side that was not figured into your 10% Team Volume Commission (TVC) is "banked" for next month.

The next month you will start with 3000 volume on your larger side (0 on your smaller). This will be added to by volume from downline team member purchases throughout the month.

This means that your smaller side can grow to as much as 3000 volume in one month and you will get paid 10% on all that growth.

If the sides zeroed out each month and your larger side did only 1000 in volume and your smaller side grew to 3000, you would only get US $100 (10% of the now smaller side's 1000 volume). You would essentially miss out on all that effort you put into growing your smaller side.

If the sides zeroed out each month and grew at a fairly even pace, you would always miss out on some of the growth each month.

So you should see your larger side grow by the amount of the "unused" volume that is "banked" each month.

There is a menu option in the Agel back office called "Volume" which has a "Volume Report" which shows your "Carry Forward" volume from the prior month.

Update: October 26, 2006

The following carry-over update will go into effect starting with Nov. 2006 commissions which are paid in December:

Carry-over: At the end of each month, the difference between the greater leg and the lesser leg is “carried over” or kept in the greater leg up to 250,000 Commissionable Volume (CV). At the start of the new month, the greater leg volume is equal to the difference between the two legs from the previous month.

In order to qualify for 50,000 carry-over volume you must place at least a two-box product order during the current bonus period.

In order to qualify for 100,000 carry-over volume you must place at least a three-box product order during the current bonus period.

In order to qualify for 250,000 carry-over volume you must place at least a four-box product order during the current bonus period.

Here are some example commissions based on the scenarios described:

Running Your Agel Business  Topics

It is a good idea for tax purposes and for business tracking purposes to have a separate bank account for your home business. If you are using an existing business to run your Agel business from, you probably don't need a separate bank account but it would be a good idea to track income and expenses for you Agel business apart from your other business.

In the US you home business can be operated as a "sole proprietorship", a corporation (C or S), or an LLC. Generally an LLC or S Corporation is the easiest to start and operate. An LLC or Corporation will give you some liability protection if it is operated and managed correctly (separate bank account, minutes, notes and corporate resolutions kept). Consult your accountant, tax preparer or attorney for information on organizing and registering a business in your state.

In the US, if you are operating as a sole proprietorship you will fill out Schedule C on your taxes to claim your business expenses.

If you are operating as a Corporation or LLC you will need to fill out a tax for for the business separate from yourself. The business tax return will include a K-1 statement for your personal taxes. The information on the K-1 statement goes onto your personal taxes. Consult your accountant or tax advior for further information and specific guidelines.

These numbers are required for tax and social security validation purposes. You can use a Tax ID# for a business name. If you are not a citizen of the United States, you are required to use your own country identification number.

The 70% rule is designed to keep people from purchasing product just to qualify for commissions. In the past network marketing companies got in trouble when distributors encouraged their downline to purchase un-needed product just to bump up their sales or make a "qualification".

The 70% rule just means that when you order more product you are agreeing to and certifying that you have sold, consumed or sampled out over 70% of your previous order (so you have only 30% remaining). This discourages distributors for making unwise purchases and ending up with a "garage full of product".

It also helps protect the Agel company from regulatory entities that may try to charge them for predatory or unfair activities. By certifying when you order that you have used/sold 70% of your product you are also acknowledging that if you are lying or misrepresenting your product inventory, any additional product you purchase is non-refundable.

You don't have to sell 70% or consume 70% before ordering or stop an auto-shipment but you do acknowledge that you will not receive a refund for excessive product purchased in violation of the 70% rule.

If you are actively passing out samples, you will probably find that you run out of product and not have enough for your own use!

Yes. Agel has an arrangement with a major financing partner that will allow the company to build an infrastructure quickly, to develop its products and packaging and to allow it to roll out in many countries almost immediately.

Update: Agel has repaid it's financial backer and is now debt free.

Venture capital firm, Ash Capital, operated by Alan Ashton, founder of WordPerfect computer software corporation (sold in the '80s for over a billion dollars) is providing the start-up funding for Agel.

Update: Agel is now self-funded. Following the largest opening month in the history of network marketing, Agel is now operating under it's own cash flow. The US $5,000,000 plus opening sales month (May 2005) allows Agel to continue to produce more products, further marketing efforts, and pay the full commission plan.

Agel opened in 10 countries in it's first month and will be opening 5-8 more countries before the end of 2005.
